Semantic Web

I have begun my research into the realities of the Semantic Web.
Specifically, OWL and RDF.
Look forward to a post based on my findings.
Would value fellow bloggers thoughts on this topic...Particularly if you have implemented with this!

Very interesting topic. It will be interesting to see what you find. One of our vendors, webMethods, is moving forward with both OWL and RDF in some future product releases. I confess I don't really know much about it. I haven't really been paying attention to the Semantic Web. I do believe they are using it for more metadata relationship management within their integration product suite.

Thank you taking the time to post and look forward to my thought in about a week.

I would be curious to know if you have considered the fact that only academia types seem to have an interest in the Semantic Web and that no large vendors even really care about it...

Mcgovern, since when do enterprise architects wait for a vendor to support something--for it to be the right solution to a business problem?

JT, I think you know what I am going to say regarding your question but for the sake of political correctness I will leave it unanswered...
